Yesterday we were at The Melplash Agricultural Show which took place in Bridport, Dorset, and is packed full of exhibits including livestock, horses, home-crafts and horticulture.
We were onsite for the build up and the show day. Thank you to Liam who provided the photos!
Many congratulations to one of our staff, Rachel, who completed the Total Warrior course in Kendal last weekend and came the 19th woman to cross the finish line out of around 2500 competitors!
Competitors put themselves through 30 punishing obstacles, 10 tonnes of ice and 100 tonnes of mud!
Before Rachel got her running shoes on, others took a more sedate approach to the Total Warrior build-up.
The 2016 Qatar Goodwood Festival has been hailed a massive success. Attendance figures were well over 100,000 across the week and 37 races all lived up to their top billing.
Saturday’s record crowd of over 26,000 enjoyed fine weather through the afternoon, ensuring the week ended with everybody outside enjoying the famous views across the Downs.
Apparently 15,000 complimentary strawberries, three tonnes of potatoes and 9,000 bottles of champagne were devoured over the weekend!
